1861 – By photographing a tartan ribbon through red, green and blue filters and then superimposing the transparencies, Scottish physicist James Clerk Maxwell (1831 – 1879) creates the first colour photograph.

1861——苏格兰物理学家詹姆斯·克拉克·麦克斯韦（1831-1879）分别使用红、绿、蓝滤光片拍摄了一条格子缎带，然后将三张底片叠加在一起，创造了第一张彩色照片。
